Fond Du Lac Tribal Community College Addition
A unique facility integrating modern materials such as
colorful aluminum panels and playful trapezoidal and circular windows, with
traditional elements such as brick masonry. The campus is located on a pristine site,
amidst a large stand of native Norway Pines.
- The before construction timeline was very important in order to assure that the classroom
wing would be ready for the start of classes in Fall of 2007 . Efforts were made to
limit the amount of winter construction, in order to contain construction costs.
- Materials were utilized to preserve the unique multi-cultural design concept
presented by the original building, with large quantities of brick and concrete
masonry, as well as aluminum panels.
- Existing building was kept fully operational while the addition was constructed.
